School Closings and Class Cancellations
In the event of inclement weather, refer to the studio facebook page for up to date class schedule changes. However, if you have concerns about the weather, then please use your best judgement to attend class or not. If class is cancelled, North4 Dance Studio will do its best to reschedule a make-up class where date and time will be TBD.
Attendance
Missing classes can delay advancement of a student and, in some cases, make them ineligible to perform in certain performances. If you must miss due to illness or other conflict, contact your instructor. Any missed classes can be made up through private lessons at an additional charge. Classes may be attended via Zoom if pre-arranged with the instructor. There are no refunds for any missed classes.
Illness
If your dancer is experiencing any symptoms such as fever, stomach illness, or anything else other than the usual, they are asked to remain out of class until they are 24 hours symptom free.
Costume Deposits
Each dance will have a costume fee of $60 - $80 (one for ballet, one for tap, etc) This payment will cover the costume, tights, and accessories in full. Costume payment can be made any time on or before the due date. Any additional dances will have an extra costume and tuition fee (ex: large group, duet/trio)
Tuition
Tuition is due on the following dates: September 15th, November 15th, January 15th, and March 15th. A late fee of $10 will be charged if payment is not received on time. If a dancer is not up to date on tuition, they will not be allowed to participate in classes until their tuition is paid. Returned checks will incur a $35 service charge. Withdrawal from the program due to injury or illness must be made in writing with a signed doctor's excuse stating a non-participation, or tuition will still be due. Tuition is NOT REFUNDABLE.
Class Placement
Your dancer must be the required age for the class by the first week of classes for the term. Your dancers will be placed into classes based on a variety of different variables: age, availability, registration timelines, years of experience, skill, work ethic, etc. We are professionals at our jobs and place your children with their best interest in mind.
